What a job I have!!!

Last week our class held the Annual Wax Museum (which of course was my first) and the kids did a great job! One of my favorite kids was this boy...
He cracked us all up with his little speech...He did a great job and was so proud of himself. His mom made his little Detroit Tigers t-shirt and he recited all these great facts about Ty Cobb. He ended by saying "Do you want to know how Ty Cobb's dad died?" Of course, who can say no that that? So, we all said yes and then he said, "His mom killed him with a 12-guage shot gun!" And of course, he had a HUGE grin on his face! HAHA!!! This is the kid who couldn't spell a word at the beginning of the year and just recently got a 100% on his spelling test and wrote his whole report on Ty Cobb! I'm so proud of him and am so thankful God put him in my class!

One of the other boys that cracks me up is this kid...

In Science, his group had to report on the moon...so why not dress up like the moon!?!? He and his grandma made this moon pillow thing that he tied around his neck and he was so excited about his costume! He wore it outside to recess and they decided to slide down the slide on it! It was hilarious!!! I love these kids :)

One more thing...yesterday, one of the girls came to me and told me that she's sad I'm not getting married, but glad that I get to stay in Maryland. That was so sweet and from what I hear, definitely not in character for her.

When I think about leaving these kids it is a little sad, maybe that's God's way of telling me to stay put...
