God's strength and grace was amazingly evident today at Bill Westerlund's funeral! Justine delivered the Eulogy and she did great! I don't think I would have had the strength! The service was beautiful and I was struck by the amazing amount of times salvation was brought to the fore-front of the service. There were so many mentions of God's gift of salvation and that all you need to do is accept His free gift! I am so thankful that this service was full of joy and peace, of course there was sadness, but there was such joy in knowing that Bill is in heaven and RUNNING on the streets of gold! Please continue to pray for Justine's family and for the salvation of those who were there and don't know the Savior. My mom was saved at our Christian neighbor's funeral and so I know that it's possible and I know that God has a plan in all of this...even if it's just the salvation of one! God can do anything He chooses to do and I pray that many are saved through Bill's death. I'll leave you with one of my favorite verses and one that was shared this morning...
Ephesians 2:8-9
8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.
