- We will be flying to Lima and then east into Huancayo in the Andes Mountains. You can read more about Huancayo here.
- While in Huancayo, we will visit 3 different Compassion centers in 3 different villages. We will be meeting and ministering to the children and workers in each of these 3 centers, as well as serving lunch and visiting some of the families who live nearby.
- We will be able to meet Keira, our sponsored child, on Friday. They will be flying her down to Lima to meet us and we'll be able to spend the day with her at the zoo.
- We are part of a group of about 30 people from all over the U.S. We will be serving with them and they will be meeting their sponsored children throughout the week.
We are AMAZED at how many people have financially supported us, whether it was buying a t-shirt, buying from my Thirty-One party, giving us cash donations or donations of supplies for the centers.
People have been praying for us and asking how they can help. Our students have drawn pictures and written notes for us to take along to these kids who live half a world away. We are truly blessed by each gift and by each of you. We are thankful for the privilege to go and minister to these children and families.
Please continue to pray for us and for our group as we will be flying on 6 different flights over the week long trip; pray as we serve together and form friendships and that we would stay safe and healthy. Pray for those who we will meet and that we can share the gospel boldly and clearly.
