Now we are just days away from Peru, and we are well into the adoption process. The process has moved much quicker than we ever thought possible, but here we are.
So where are we???
After some investigating, we decided to go through Bethany Christian Services as our adoption agency. We did our PRIDE Adoption training in January and February with Bethany and thanks to some snow days and some answered prayers, we got through our Home Study in record time!
We are now in the visiting and matching stage of this process. We are seeing so many prayers being answered and we are in contact with a local agency regarding a sibling pair. We aren't able to share a lot of information publicly yet, but it has been an incredible journey. A journey that God has orchestrated and seems to be working out in HIS perfect time.
Please keep us, as well as, these 2 kids in prayer as we move forward. Pray for wisdom and perfect timing for all the decisions that need to be made. The more we move forward, the more it seems that God's hand is in this and these will be our kids.
We have continued to come back to this verse throughout this process and are thankful for the plans that the Lord has for us and for the kids He will give us.
