SPRING BREAK projects 2012

I love having a Spring Break!!! I also love having my hubby home during the entire Spring Break! We both had a week off this year and it's been wonderful! We've been staying busy with projects and gotten lots done :) Tomorrow is (sadly) back to reality as I go back to work. Thankfully though, sUmMeR will be here soon!!! June 8th is right around the corner :)  Here's a brief recap of our week vacation:

We visited my parents (aka Nanny and Papa) in their new house in Clarks Green, PA! Keith, Brooke and Reid came up too. It was nice to have the whole family together for the day,

He was very smiley! Love all his hair!

We celebrated Dad's Birthday :) Happy Birthday to such a wonderful Dad!! I love you!

We came back home to our LONG list of projects to work on over the week:
We worked on Dale's fishing/row boat. He pressure washed the entire thing...very tedious but better than sanding.

We had an entire truckload of mulch to spread! We did it though and the flower beds look GREAT :)

We did take a break and head to Baltimore 1 day- we went to the Baltimore Museum of Industry. I had no idea so many products were local to Baltimore.

This is my 1st Diaper Cake ever and it turned out soooo cute! It's for Dale's sister, who's baby is due in about a month. I love the little Police Ducky on top since Kevin (our bro-in-law) is a police officer!

Back to the boat- today was the sanding day! Dale turned into the Hulk with all that green paint!

I've been wanting to do this for awhile, after I saw my sister-in-law, Brooke's family photo shelf. This is a mixture of pics of Dale's family and mine. It turned out great and just needs to get on the wall now :)

My little plants keep growing so that's exciting! I did plant some of the morning glories (on the left)in bigger pots today so hopefully they will continue to grow now that they have a better growing space.

And last but not least, we went to the "Peep Show," all the displays were made of peeps! It was crazy! I've never seen anything like it! Some were VERY creative :)
