Blessings...

God has truly been pouring out his blessings upon us...

2 weeks ago my mom came out and Brooke, my sis-in-law came down and we all went dress shopping...we found the perfect dress at the first shop! We had to continue shopping though- we thought it was too easy of course :)  It was the cutest little boutique and I HIGHLY recommend them! They let me try on dresses for 2 hours and were so so so nice!

While they were here that weekend we got a photographer lined up, we got decorations for the aisles, and lots of things done.

We also decided on the cakes! Dale's Aunt Beth is making the cake and some other little treats for us :) She was so excited to do this for us that she went all out making several different kinds of cupcakes and cakes and icings and fillings for us to try! We had a good time tasting everything and we're so excited for everyone to eat her delicious creations!!!

We've been working on tying up loose ends and getting all of my stuff moved. We decided that I should move into the apartment that Dale's parents have at their house. We moved most of my stuff to his house and it's all sitting boxed up in the garage, while I have the things I'll need over the next few months at the apt with me. It's such a blessing to live rent-free for a few months so that we can save the money for the wedding and honeymoon. On a side note...the day after I moved and cleaned and got signed off on the apt, it flooded!!! What an amazing blessing to not have to clean up that mess!

I've also been blessed by a new job! I was content working in the office a few days a week and then at Cracker Barrel on the weekend, when all of sudden, out of nowhere, I got a phone call from a principal I've never met that I was highly recommended for a position she has available starting March 15. I couldn't believe it! It was a school that I really liked subbing in and it's the same school that Dale's niece goes to. So after Dale and I had talked about we decided it was a good opportunity and it may lead to a permanent job. So for the rest of the school year, I'll be a Special Ed. Assistant for an autistic 1st grader. And an added blessing...I get to QUIT Cracker Barrel!!! Finally :) My weekends will be free soon!

And one more blessing to add...a SURPRISE Shower! My mom and Brooke and Dale were all in cohoots to throw me a shower this past weekend! It was so fun and such a blessing to know I wasn't forgotten and I got a great shower with all my family and my sweet friends from High School! Pictures will be posted soon!

This year has been such a learning and growing experience...I'm so thankful I have an amazing God I can trust in!
