Ask and Ye Shall Receive...

God is good and always promises us HIS best...even though I've felt like Job at times or the Israelites wandering in the desert, I've tried to keep trusting in the Lord throughout the last few months. There were days when I was very bored and waiting for that perfect teaching job, but God didn't see fit to give me that right now. Instead, He has led me on a very different (and busy) path. A path that has been a blessing to me and (hopefully) a blessing to others.

I started out planning on subbing and serving at Cracker Barrel and God has added 2 more jobs into that mix. I have subbed 2 days so far at a Special Ed. school and that was definitely an experience! This week I am working 5 of the 7 days at Cracker Barrel and I am also thankful that I am able to help out 2 people from my church who have their own companies. I'm now working at K&B Restoration on a part-time, semi-permanent basis. I started out filling in for 1 week as their secretary and now I will be their "Data-Entry" girl :) They are a great group of people and it's been nice having the flexibility to go when I want to and when it works with my schedule. Hopefully, I can help them get caught up before the end of the year and keep them caught up after the new year starts :) The 4th job is at an insurance inspection company and I'm filling in while their main girl goes on a 2 week vacation. Thankfully, this job is temporary because it's been a little overwhelming balancing everything, but I'm so thankful I get to help them. This job may come back into play after the new year, but hopefully everything will be somewhat settled down by then.

And then there's the boy...the man actually...he's certainly not a boy :) But, anyways, back to the point...Dale is a good man! He's been so sweet and he's certainly spoiling me!! It's so nice to be spoiled and actually have a day to day, face to face relationship. It's been a long time since I dated a guy that I actually got to spend time with on a regular basis. We've been seeing each other/getting to know each other for about a month now and it's been so good. I wasn't so sure what was going to happen at first, but God is good and He's given me a peace about being with this man who really wants to spoil me and take care of me for now. He lives here in Mt. Airy and he's a teacher and he's very balanced and down to earth. I got to meet his parents this week and they are so sweet. (No, I don't have a picture or I would have posted it! SOON my friends, soon!!!) He has definitely restored my faith in that there may still be normal, nice, sweet men out there.

I am excited to see what's going to be the next step for me in HIS plan...stay tuned ;)

Whew, you have been busy...in so many ways. :) So happy that God is revealing his perfect plan for your life. His ways are always better than ours, but it can be so hard to step back and let Him be in control. I'm so happy for you!!

I am so happy to hear that you have been blessed and that God is certainly providing for you in more ways than one. There are still WONDERFUL men out there and I am glad you have found a fantastic one :) Can't wait to see pictures of the two of you.
