It's been awhile!

So, I've been reading everyone else's blogs and keeping up with everyone else, but haven't given a lot of thought or time to mine.

There isn't too much going on these days, adjusting to a new school year, but one where I am not teaching, and I have to say it's both a good thing and a bad thing. It's really weird not setting up my classroom and getting everything ready, but it's so nice not dealing with lesson plans and behavior problems and crazy parents! I hope that next year I do have a classroom, but we'll see what God has in store. It's been nice just going to work and leaving it behind when I walk out the door. I've been training at Cracker Barrel for like 3 weeks now- it's crazy how long they're making this process! I have 1 more night of training and then I'll be on my own, hopefully on Saturday. I've also been babysitting a little and looking for S.O.S. clients- so far I have some leads, but haven't done any work yet. I'm definitely trusting the Lord to provide this month, because I certainly don't have any idea how the bills will get paid. I know that God is good and gives us what is good and that He is taking me down this path and will provide. I've been continuing to read through the Psalms and am constantly reminded that God is God alone and that He is the one who gives us what is good.

In 2 weeks, I will be doing the orientation for subbing and then hopefully be working during the day too :)
