After School Getaway!

After school got out this year, we left for a few days to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. It was so nice to get away and enjoy some time exploring. I just finished teaching about the colonies and the birth of our nation, so it was really cool to see all the history come alive :)

And as a side note...Colonial Williamsburg offers teachers 1/2 price entrance with ID, so it was awesome that both of us got in for 1/2 price!!!
