As I sit here, Dale is sleeping in his comfy recliner and Bailey (our dog) is sleeping next to me...did I mention that it's 3:30 in the afternoon??? Does this seem normal 4 days before a couple gets married??? Yesterday, we asked ourselves the same question while we were swimming at the pool and quietly reading and watching TV, not doing any wedding related things! Before you think we're crazy...let me just say what a blessing Dale is to me! He is not one to shy away from work and his nap is well deserved...he already mowed the yard and weed-wacked this morning and then came in and helped me clean the whole house by vacuuming and swiffering all the floors while I worked on some other little projects. Our house is ready for an invasion of people in just a few days and I can't wait til everyone gets here! Starting tomorrow, people will start arriving and helping us celebrate this special time in our lives!
Wednesday night will be a great night with my girls from Miami and I'm so thankful that each of them will be able to celebrate with us! I am so blessed by these friendships and can't imagine not knowing these girls! They are such a blessing to me!
Friday night is the ceremony and I hope that by being as organized as we are, that we can truly enjoy every minute of it and we celebrate with those we love the most!
I know I haven't written in a while, but things have been slightly busy and all my pictures are on the other computer so I kept waiting for a time to do it on that computer...but time is running out and I figured I better write at least one more post before I become MRS. Stacie Houston :)
